The Glenn W. Lippman Library of Judacia was dedicated June 23, 2000. It contains books, music and movies, primarily on Jewish topics. The collection includes children's books, adult fiction and adult non-fiction. The adult non-fiction includes Torah translations, cookbooks, biographies, books on Jewish holidays, spirituality, social action and modern issues. The library serves members of Congregation B'nai Torah and our community.
Glenn Lippman is a past president of Congregation B'nai Torah and a strong supporter of the library.
The Glenn W. Lippman Library of Judacia welcomes donations of money, books and time. Volunteers are needed to process and catalog new acquisitions and to repair books. Books to be donated should be in good condition without missing or torn pages.
Recent acquisitions include highly rated books from the Congregation B'nai Torah book club including The Brigade : An Epic Story of Vengeance, Salvation, and WWII by Howard Blum, Nine Parts of Desire: The Hidden World of Islamic Women by Geraldine Brooks, and The Ghost of Hannah Mendes by Naomi Ragen.
